Name CLEAR FLOAT GLASS
Description

CLEAR FLOAT GLASS Float glass is a sheet of glass made by floating molten glass on a bed of molten metal, typically tin, although lead and various low melting point alloys were used in the past. This method gives the sheet uniform thickness and very flat surfaces. Modern windows are made from float glass. Most float glass is soda-lime glass, but relatively minor quantities of specialty borosilicate and flat panel display glass are also produced using the float glass process. The float glass process is also known as the Pilkington process, named after the British glass manufacturer Pilkington, which pioneered the technique

Tinted-Float-Glasses
Name TINTED FLOAT GLASS
Description

TINTED FLOAT GLASSTinted float glass is manufactured by adding small amount of colorants such as iron oxide, cobalt oxide or selenium into the batch. Compared with clear float glass, the body-tinted glass absorbs more solar radiation than clear float glass, and reduces the transmission of infrared, visible and ultraviolet light rays. As a result, the energy efficiency of air-conditioning equipment for a building glazed with tinted glass can be improved.

Name FLOAT MIRROR
Description

FLOAT MIRROR Float glass is a sheet of glass made by floating molten glass on a bed of molten metal, typically tin, although lead and various low melting point alloys were used in the past. This method gives the sheet uniform thickness and very flat surfaces. Modern windows are made from float glass. Most float glass is soda-lime glass, but relatively minor quantities of specialty borosilicate[1] and flat panel display glass are also produced using the float glass process.[2] The float glass process is also known as the Pilkington process, named after the British glass manufacturer Pilkington, which pioneered the technique (invented by Sir Alastair Pilkington) in the 1950s.

Reflective-Glasses
Name REFLECTIVE GLASS
Description

REFLECTIVE GLASS This is an ordinary float glass with a metallic coating to reduce solar heat. This special metallic coating also produces a mirror effect, preventing the subject from seeing through the glass. It is mainly used in façades. Production Pyrolitic (On-Line): in this process, semi-conducted metal oxides are directly applied to the glass during the float glass production while the glass is still hot in the annealing lehr. These are hard coatings which are relatively harmful to the environment. .
